What manner of love is this, that we should be called children of God!" Reading that as if it were just words fails to convey the emotion I believe John wrote with. They saw Christ. They spoke with Christ. And we blame our spiritual apathy on our inability to do those things. It is sad to see how much passion we've lost for our Savior. Nice insight. Keep writing.
